Global game at the National Football Museum was a film produced for a large scale puffersphere dome.
Creating media for a 360° sphere provides lots of technical challenges when producing content, but these were all challenges that we enjoyed solving.
Creating a seamless loop on each side of the animation helped guide the design decisions we made on this one. We treated an earth texture with several iterations - kinetic text, textures of flags and even travel stickers as a plane few around the earth.
We also used 3D techniques to map images of footballs through time over the globe and used animated techniques to wrap and unwrap the textures.
