PROCESSION

Jewel House,
Tower of London, UK

Animation

Design, Animation,

Artwork

This procession sequence is large scale projected animation and a key part of the refurbished Crown Jewels exhibit at the Tower of London.

My role was to artwork and animate a series of etching, painting and illustration's that depicted various royal Procession's throughout the years.

The animation is shown within a series of arches along the full width of a room that acts as a transitional space in Jewel House.

The sequence guides you towards the room containing the actual Crown Jewels, so you feel as if you are part of the painting and the forward motion guides you into the next room.
